Royal Visit Brings Reparations Bill to Bahamas

King Charles came to the Bahamas and got a bill along with the welcome. Protesters held placards reading "Pay us what you owe us," and the Bahamas National Reparations Committee says his remarks came up short of what justice requires. The King acknowledged past suffering, which is more candor than I get from my dog after he's been into the feed. Buckingham Palace says no formal apology is coming, since that decision belongs to the British government. Breitbart cites a UK spokesman saying London does not and will not pay reparations. I had a heifer once who stood at the trailer gate all afternoon refusing to load, and the Palace strikes me as the same animal. It knows exactly where the gate is and isn't walking through it.

Read the whole thing. I'll wait. I've got cattle to feed anyway.
