Senate Dems Torch HALF A MILLION on Mississippi
The Hill · first seen 5d ago · 1 outlet
Picture a man buying a $500,000 lottery ticket for a raffle where the prize is a Mississippi Senate seat held by a Trump-backed Republican. That's the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, folks. The Hill reports the DSCC dropped $500,000 backing Democrat Scott Colom against Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith, and the new ad leans on his record as a district attorney.
Colom says he'll "take on anyone who stands in the way of what's best." Fine. Meanwhile Hyde-Smith has the president in her corner and, I'd wager, a whole state that knows which way it faces.
Half a million dollars is a lot of hay to throw at a pasture that already knows who feeds it. Saddle up. It gets dumber.
