Press Secretary Out In Under A Week

Picture a hired hand showing up Monday, and by Friday he's telling the whole county the fence did him wrong. That's the story out of Washington, where the Washington Times reports former White House press secretary Katie Zacharia blames the media and D.C. politics for her ouster.
The Gateway Pundit reports she served less than a week and says Fox News' hostility was very likely the reason she left. It also reports she said she had great relationships with White House staff, and quotes her: "I Was Not Prepared for the Hostility That I Received." Folks, the job is literally standing at a podium while reporters throw questions at you. The hostility IS the job. That's the whole barn.
The Washington Times doesn't mention Fox, and nobody's said who made the call. I'd say I'm surprised, but I've met Congress.
