Mamdani's Pickup Hoops Have Police Union FURIOUS

Western Journal reports that New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani has played pickup basketball at the NYPD academy gym, and that local law enforcement is angered by it. The outlet cites a Politico article published this week, and its headline says police union officials are furious.

What's the beef? Nobody's saying. The reporting available doesn't spell out the union's complaints, how many games were played, or what the mayor has to say for himself. But here's the kitchen-table take: the cops show up every day to keep New York safe, and the mayor's idea of a morning is a game of pickup in THEIR gym. Bless their hearts, and I mean that with my whole chest. The union's just not in a mood to share the ball.
