Hegseth CLEARS OUT Another Senior Pentagon Officer

Secretary Hegseth has fired Army Lt. Gen. Brett Sylvia, who ran strategy, plans and policy on the Joint Staff, and a War Department official says he failed three polygraph exams about leaking classified information. The matter has been referred to the Justice Department. Sylvia hasn't been charged and hasn't been heard from, so we'll let that process run. Trump told reporters Thursday that Sylvia is going to have "big problems."

The Washington Examiner notes the Joint Staff first thanked the man warmly, then declined further comment once the leak talk surfaced. That's the fastest case of a farewell card going back in the drawer I've seen since a hired hand of mine got caught selling feed out the back of the barn.

His predecessor was forced out about a year earlier. At that rate, somebody ought to check the roof for the leak.
