Peltola's Alaska Senate Race Controversy

Alaska Democrats allegedly recruited another man named Dan Sullivan to run for Senate, so the incumbent Republican would have a namesake standing beside him on the ballot. The New York Times reports Mary Peltola and her allies went looking for other people with similar names. Peltola's campaign denies playing any part in the ruse, which is a lot of denying for a ballot that's suddenly crowded with Dan Sullivans. The View's Whoopi Goldberg called it a shady tactic, per Breitbart, though one panelist said a same-named man on the ballot isn't illegal. Rep. Suhas Subramanyam says ranked-choice voting makes candidates like that part of the process. Lots of things are part of the process. Ticks are part of the process too, and I don't let them vote. Bloomberg reports Trump says Peltola should be banned from the race. Somebody check on Washington. It's been licking the fence again.

Short and sweet from me. Long and juicy over here:
