Comer Wants Answers on Two Dan Sullivans
Picture this: you walk into a feed store, ask for Dan Sullivan, and TWO fellas step forward. That's the ballot Alaskans were allegedly handed, and now House Oversight Chairman James Comer is asking questions. The Washington Examiner reports Comer wants transcribed interviews with former Peltola campaign manager Elisa Rios and Democratic operative Jerid Kurtz. The New York Times reported Rios was a key source on the alleged recruitment of a second Dan Sullivan, who placed third in the primary. The Peltola campaign and the Alaska Democratic Party say they're not affiliated with him. The Justice Department argued Democrats planted the second Sullivan, per the Examiner. These are allegations, folks. Still, the interviews are set for Nov. 5 and 6, right after the election. Alaskans just want to know who's who. Rios put it plainly: "Alaskan voters need to know." My grandpa fixed bigger problems with baling wire and a cuss word.
