Newsom Deploys Election Lawyers to Battlegrounds

Gavin Newsom is sending election lawyers to watch vote counting in five California districts. The NY Post says only the 22nd is a toss-up, so the other four are getting lawyers out of pure thoroughness. A fella sure his count is clean doesn't bring a lawyer to stand at his elbow. California also made seizing ballots before certification a felony, after Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco seized over 650,000 ballots in March. Democrats are mobilizing nearly 1,000 trained volunteers, so nobody can call them undermanned. Meanwhile Washington sued over roughly 20,000 suspected noncitizen voters, and a federal court shot down the DOJ's emergency bid to set those ballots aside. Around here, a man who can't keep track of his own cows doesn't lecture the neighbors on counting theirs.
