Texas ICE Operation Nabs 4,170 in 10 Days

Ten days, 4,170 arrests, about 400 a day. That's more paperwork than most courthouses see in a year. DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin says over 60 percent had criminal backgrounds and credited state, county and local law enforcement. That's how things get done around here: the neighbors show up and the job gets finished before dinner. Mullin also knocked sanctuary policies at a Dallas press conference, and I've never heard one explained by anybody who's pulled a calf at two in the morning. As he told The Post Millennial, "We were able to make the Lone Star state safer." The announcement also landed a few days before the midterms, which I'm sure is a coincidence nobody planned.
