Zombie-Costumed Man Stabs Two in Coffee Shop

Prayers first, then the facts. Police say a man wearing a Halloween costume stabbed two people at The Buzz Mill, a coffee shop and bar in Austin, Texas, on Wednesday night, just before a comedy show there was due to kick off. Witnesses called him a zombie with face makeup. He fled in a pickup, struck an unoccupied autonomous vehicle, and police later located him on a trail roughly three miles away. Officers arrested Shankar Temple Grace, 20, after a search. One victim has life-threatening injuries and the other has non-life-threatening injuries, and both were last reported stable. Grace has been taken to the Travis County Jail on a pair of second-degree felony assault charges involving a deadly weapon. He is charged, not convicted. Our prayers are with the victims and their families tonight.
