Shin Bet: Election Probe 'Limited'

Picture it: the cattle auction ends, your neighbor's bid comes up short, and he storms the barn hollering that somebody tampered with the scale. That's the mood in Israel, folks. Netanyahu said Wednesday that rival Arab parties cheated in the election, after exit polls suggested his coalition fell short of a Knesset majority. One outlet reports he cited alleged bribery, threats, violence and forgeries, and Western Journal says his party claims it handed alleged evidence to police.

Here's the fair part: none of this is established yet. Final results are still trickling in, and the investigation details are murky. But Likud and its allies reportedly outperformed expectations Tuesday, and if the count ends in deadlock, somebody had better check every ballot box. I'm calm. I'm so calm I'm vibrating.
