Police: AZ Man Allegedly Hired Fiancée's Attacker
Let's be quiet for a second and get this one right. Police in Buckeye, Arizona, allege Zarian Dyer, 23, recruited Adrian Ayala, 20, to assault his fiancée, Bella Torres, at their home around 6 p.m. on Oct. 16. The Buckeye Police Department says Dyer was arrested Thursday, and Ayala was arrested the next day at his Goodyear home, where detectives found communications between the two men about the attack.
Torres reportedly fought Ayala off in the driveway and chased him down the street. Dyer and Ayala face charges including kidnapping and sexual abuse, and Ayala's trial is set for April 1, 2027. Both men are presumed innocent until a court decides otherwise.
Ms. Torres showed courage that evening, and she and her children deserve justice and peace.
