Amy Acton Rally Draws Drunk Jokes

Two outlets are going after Ohio governor candidate Amy Acton over a video of her speaking at a Thursday night rally. RedState says she appeared to slur her words and calls her hammered. Not the Bee, a satire site, frames its piece as a question, then says she isn't totally smashed, which is a generous bar for a politician to clear. Both rely on clips, and no phone video has ever settled whether someone is drunk or just talking unclearly. RedState also drags in old claims about Nancy Pelosi and Kamala Harris, which tells you the clip alone wasn't carrying the argument. Judging a speech off a shaky clip is like judging a bull off one picture of his backside. You've seen something. You just haven't seen the animal.
