Ryan O'Shea, a 21-year-old University of New Haven senior and hockey captain, died October 16 when a wrong-way pickup hit his car head-on on Interstate 91 in North Haven. State Police say the truck was a Chevrolet Silverado driven by Guillermo Carmona-Lopez, 31, of Bridgeport, who was taken to Yale New Haven Hospital with serious injuries. Three others had minor injuries. DHS says Border Patrol arrested Carmona-Lopez in May 2013, that he was removed, reentered illegally, and was issued a final order of removal May 30, 2013. He had not been charged as of late October. O'Shea studied criminal justice and hoped to join the NYPD. Adviser Lorenzo Boyd told Gateway Pundit, "Ryan wanted to go into public service in order to help others." A final removal order is supposed to mean something.
