Elias Firm Was 'Part Of' Peltola Ballot Plot

The Federalist · first seen 3d ago · 1 outlet

The New York Times reports Democratic operatives ran a scheme they called 'Decoy Dan,' recruiting a second Dan J. Sullivan to run in Alaska's Senate race and muddy things for voters. Any scheme that counts on Alaskans not telling two names apart was dead on arrival. The Times says the Elias Law Group, which represents Peltola's campaign and the DSCC, was involved, and an attorney there was named in texts. Peltola's campaign and the DSCC deny any part of it. Sen. Ron Johnson told The Federalist it was 'outrageous and possibly criminal behavior on the part of Democrat operatives,' his subcommittee sent records preservation letters, and Alaska's governor ordered an investigation. The squeaky wheel gets the grease, and this one has been squeaking for a while. I've seen smarter decisions made by a cow stuck in a gate.
