Florida Woman Arrested for Threatening Trump

Volusia County arrested Allison Albro, 21, on charges tied to a written threat to kill President Trump and misuse of a communications device, all over a social media post saying she'd show up at his Daytona Beach rally with a Glock. Sheriff Mike Chitwood says she told officers it was a joke and that she has no gun or other weapon. Mama's rule was never miss a good chance to shut up, and a social media post is about the worst place to test it. Trump speaks at 7 p.m. Friday for Rep. Byron Donalds, and the sheriff's office, Secret Service and FBI are now working together to secure the event, which is more teamwork than some agencies in Washington manage in a year. Rallies in Iowa and Kansas follow Sunday, a heavier travel schedule than most of Congress keeps in a midterm year.
