Trump Sends Third Carrier Toward Iran

Three carriers is what you send when you want the other fella to stop talking and start counting. Trump sent a third one toward the Middle East, and Central Command calls the three together the biggest naval push there since the 2003 invasion of Iraq. The Daily Mail says the USS Theodore Roosevelt group and the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit should arrive by late November. Trump told a Kansas City radio host, "It's going to get wrapped up soon," which is what my cousin says about his hay baler every August. The Hill reports he's weighing strikes after the midterms. Tehran has been running its mouth for years, and the old saying applies: don't let your mouth write a check your tail can't cash.
