Missiles Added at Mar-a-Lago Amid Threat Warning

The Secret Service asked for short-range air defense and counter-drone systems around Mar-a-Lago, and officials confirmed it Oct. 29. Military and White House officials declined to give details and no specific threat has been confirmed, which is how a professional acts and how my hired man acts when I ask why the gate's open. Gateway Pundit quotes a Secret Service spokesperson citing a "heightened threat environment," and local media report Avenger systems parked on a floating barge near the estate. That's the first time I've seen a barge do anything useful since it hauled hay to a flooded pasture. Flight restrictions run through Nov. 1, and fighter jets were scrambled Oct. 24 to escort a general aviation plane out of a no-fly zone. It left safely, which is more than most of Washington's plans manage.
