El Sayed Sides With the Terrorists
President Trump has said Michigan Democratic Senate nominee Abdul el Sayed is "on the side of the terrorists," and a Washington Examiner opinion column defends that charge. The column cites el Sayed's associations and social media posts, and says his father-in-law served on the founding committee of the Islamic Society of North America. It also says el Sayed invited Hasan Piker to campaign with him many times and never distanced himself from a Cenk Uygur ad the column calls antisemitic.
The Washington Post and other outlets reportedly said there is no evidence el Sayed supports groups like the Muslim Brotherhood, though the column's claims on that point are not independently confirmed. Michigan voters deserve a clear look at who a candidate stands with.
