Two Arrests in Missing SNL Writer's Sister Case

Christina Downer, 38, was last heard from in late November 2025. Her brother, SNL writer Jimmy Fowlie, publicly raised concerns about her case. NBC Los Angeles and the LAPD report that her boyfriend, Delorean Bijon Brandon, and Kaylee Nicole Markowski have been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with her death. Police accuse the pair of killing Downer, disposing of her body, and covering up their involvement. Brandon was taken in Highland Park, Markowski in Tarzana, and both are held on $2 million bail. The LAPD's Robbery-Homicide Division took the case after a cellphone belonging to Downer washed up on Santa Monica Beach. Accusations aren't convictions, and both are entitled to their day in court. Our thoughts are with Downer's family, who have waited a long time for answers.
