Dead Dog 'Biscuit' Gets Voting Paperwork
Biscuit was a beagle-hound mix from Goochland County, and he has been dead about five years. A constituent still received a rights-restoration certificate in the dog's name, with the governor's signature on it. Del. Tom Garrett, R-Buckingham, wants an investigation, and Gateway Pundit quotes him: "Biscuit was a dog. Biscuit has been dead for five years." RedState says observers think the signatures may be autopen-generated. The certificate also says the governor reviewed the dog's criminal case, which is a lot of reviewing for a dog. Virginians decide Tuesday whether felon rights restoration should be automatic. Before they make it automatic, I'd like them to tell a dog from a voter.
