Sheriff Gives Update on Nancy Guthrie Case
Nine months after Nancy Guthrie, 84, went missing, the Pima County Sheriff's Department says the case is still active. Investigators recently traveled to Florida to meet with lab scientists, and detectives are coordinating with the Nancy Guthrie Task Force on DNA testing. Nancy is the mother of Savannah Guthrie, the Today show co-host. She was last seen alive at her home in Tucson, Arizona. Earlier, the department released ransom notes it believes came from the kidnappers. Fox News quotes the department: "Even the smallest piece of information could be critical to this investigation." If you know something, however small, the sheriff's office wants to hear it. Families who wait this long deserve investigators who keep at it.
