Iran Hardliner Demands the Bomb as Khamenei Threatens
Iran's supreme leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, has ordered his military to update its target list to cover all U.S. and Israeli assets within reach, and he vowed an immediate, impactful response to any threat with no geographic limits. The Wall Street Journal reports Gulf states were told to expect a short, intense U.S. campaign, while the AP reports Washington warned allies to prepare for strikes after the November 3 midterms. The White House has declined to discuss sensitive military plans, and Trump has not made a final decision. Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi calls a letter from Vice President JD Vance a positive step, but no meetings are planned for now. Our prayers are with the service members and families living under this threat. Peace through strength is still the surest path to peace.
