Paxton, Talarico Tussle for Texas Senate Seat

Texas has a tossup Senate race, which is what newspapers say when they don't want to pick a horse. Ken Paxton beat Sen. John Cornyn earlier this year with Trump's help, and now he and James Talarico are making their final weekend push. ABC News reports Paxton says the left keeps getting more radical, which around here gets a nod at the feed store. Early ballots are approaching 50 million, so plenty of Texans already made up their minds at the kitchen table. Trump is scheduled to call into six tele-rallies Saturday. Hakeem Jeffries is promising an affordable America, which is easier to promise from a Washington office, while a Michigan event with Rep. James Clyburn is in doubt after a fight over Haley Stevens. Nervous as a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs.
