WSJ Wins Dismissal of Trump's $10 Billion Suit

A federal judge in Miami dismissed President Trump's $10 billion defamation suit against the Wall Street Journal, with prejudice, which means it can't be refiled. Judge Darrin Gayles ruled the amended complaint still didn't plausibly show actual malice, and wrote that Trump was 'grasping at straws.' Lawyers for Trump say he plans to appeal. The judge never decided whether Trump wrote the Epstein birthday letter, which is the detail the cable panels will skip entirely. Anybody who's run cattle knows you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear, and the panels will be out there trying by suppertime. Back home, when a judge says with prejudice, the neighbors take it as the last word and don't ask the television for a second opinion.
