Murder Probe Opened in France Molotov Attack

Saturday's Halloween protests across France turned violent, with demonstrators in Paris and other cities throwing Molotov cocktails and projectiles at police. Several officers were injured, and vehicles and flags were set on fire, including American and Israeli flags in Lyon, the New York Post reports.

In Paris, a Molotov cocktail exploded near a police officer at Porte de Charenton, and authorities opened an attempted murder investigation. Police also prevented looting in several cities and made more than 560 arrests nationwide. Laurent Nuñez told the Daily Wire, "We are fully prepared for those looking for confrontation tonight."

Marine Le Pen said the perpetrators "must be found and punished with the utmost severity." Law and order means something when the people enforcing it are the ones getting hurt.
