Obamacare Premiums Keep Climbing as Enrollment Opens
The Washington Examiner's opinion piece says average Obamacare premiums are up more than 40 percent in four years and have more than doubled in the past decade. Out at my place, when the feed bill doubles I go shopping for a new feed store, not a bigger government. The Examiner also dug up Barack Obama promising, "We've got to make sure that nobody has to worry about high healthcare premiums," which is about as reliable as a bull swearing he's staying in the pen. The Washington Times says open enrollment will bring higher premiums and fewer options in 2027. Meanwhile Michigan's Democratic Senate nominee, Abdul el Sayed, is campaigning on single-payer. The Examiner says the law was built to push that direction all along. If you find yourself in a hole, stop digging.
