Europe's Elites Face REAL Fascists on Streets
Demonstrations across Europe have drawn thousands demanding tougher immigration controls, and some participants openly used Roman salutes and other fascist-era symbols, according to the Daily Caller. Reuters and ANSA put about 2,000 people at a Milan march on April 29 that commemorated Sergio Ramelli, an 18-year-old activist who died in 1975 after being attacked by far-left militants. Milan Mayor Giuseppe Sala condemned the salutes, per ANSA.
La Repubblica counted about 4,000 at a Rome march on June 13, where AP and ANSA say some participants also gave Roman salutes. The European Council says EU asylum applications rose from about 260,000 in 2010 to more than 1.3 million in 2015, and that is a real issue for voters to argue about. Border policy belongs at the ballot box, not in a salute line.
