The Department of Energy approved Radiant's Kaleidos, a truck-transportable 1-megawatt microreactor at Idaho National Laboratory, to run at full power. Radiant says it's the only microreactor design with that approval, while the rest have only run zero-power tests, like giving a bull a blue ribbon for standing still. A DOE official called it another step in President Trump's vision for an American nuclear renaissance. Democrats spent years treating nuclear like a dirty word, so a working reactor getting the green light is common sense showing up late. Wall Street heard that and sold anyway. Oklo is down 86% from its October peak and NuScale is off 89%, and the reports mostly blame rising Treasury yields and analysts cutting targets. That's a fence post blaming the wind.
