Michigan Student Arrested for Attacking Influencer

Prayers first, then the facts. On Sunday, a University of Michigan student knocked conservative influencer Lizzy Benichou to the ground at a campus event in Ann Arbor, according to the NY Post. A university police officer saw it happen during an unpermitted event. The student was taken into custody, then released pending warrant authorization. Police report no injuries.

Benichou says the attack happened during a Liberty Under Fire USA tour stop and that her attacker supported Abdul El-Sayed, the Democratic Senate candidate in Michigan. Police have not confirmed that. Whether charges will follow has not been stated.

Benichou says political violence has no place in this country, and I agree with her. Nobody should be knocked down for speaking their mind on a public campus. Keep Benichou in your prayers.
