Epic Fury 2.0 Warned to Starve Global Farms

The Washington Examiner, in an opinion piece, warns that a second Operation Epic Fury could come after the midterms if Washington and Jerusalem launch it. Iran could then go after Gulf refineries, processing plants and power grids, not just shipping, with lasting damage to the global food supply. The Examiner cites NOAA's forecast of a major El Niño into early 2027 and recalls that the 1973-1974 Arab embargo quadrupled oil prices and nearly tripled fertilizer prices. The Hill, also in opinion, wants Trump to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and steer clear of failed tactics. No new strike has been reported, and it is unclear whether a second operation will happen. Keeping Hormuz open and deterring Iran is how families avoid another energy shock.
