Oil Slides on Hopes for US-Iran Talks

Oil traders heard the word progress and started dumping barrels like it was the last bagel in Nassau County. West Texas Intermediate fell more than 6% to $97.21, per Oilprice.com as Just the News reports, and Brent dropped to as low as $105.55, its lowest since October 16. Iranian negotiators walked out of talks with Qatari mediators Sunday, but Reuters says a draft proposal is circulating and a follow-up meeting is possible. Secretary Rubio says Trump hasn't decided, and the military option stays on the table, which is what a man with a plan sounds like. Airline stocks cheered, with United up 7% in New York and IAG up 4.2% in London.
