Bill Clinton Endorses Keisha Lance Bottoms

Bill Clinton popped up in a campaign video for Keisha Lance Bottoms on Monday, less than 24 hours before Georgia votes. Just the News reports every living former Democratic president has now endorsed her, which is quite a bench for a race the Washington Examiner says she trails by about a point against Republican businessman Rick Jackson. Clinton praised her plans on housing, pay for police and firefighters, a balanced budget with no tax hike, and Medicaid expansion. I've only ever heard a balanced budget with no tax hike from a man selling used tractors. Her side is also less sure she can match Jon Ossoff, who was up 8.2 points on Mike Collins in the same polling. You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear, but you can get a former president to say it's silk on camera.
