Teamsters Boss Sean O'Brien Backs Republican

Teamsters boss Sean O'Brien endorsed Sen. Ashley Moody in the Florida Senate race, and he mentioned he had just voted in Florida for the first time, the same Sunday polls were set to open. The man calls himself a lifelong Democrat and spoke at the 2024 Republican National Convention, so somebody on the left is going to have a long week explaining that. Moody is proud of the endorsement and points to job and training goals, and I respect anybody who wants more apprentices. The kid I hired now runs my paint department. Angie Nixon fired back on X that "Ashley Moody never walked the line with you," a complaint I've heard from every employee who ever got turned down for a raise. Some commenters didn't like a union boss voting in Florida at all, which tells you the internet has never had to meet a payroll.
