Trump Floats Pardons if Dems Win Midterms

President Trump told the New York Post's Pod Force One, per Not the Bee, that people around him need protection if Democrats take Congress and that he'd pardon allies if needed. The New York Times quotes him: "We just have to protect those people." Pardons are still an if, and this was an interview, not a courtroom. If Democrats take the gavel, they'll be the ones holding the subpoena pens, and a man with any sense buys his hay before the snow, not after. Bless their hearts, they'd call that a scandal by lunch. Elon Musk, per Not the Bee, said a Democratic takeover would be the "end of democracy." I've sat through county commission races that felt that way, and the county kept right on running.
