MN Woman Says Freed Illegal Alien Raped Her

A woman in Mounds View, Minnesota, says she was attacked in her own home, and our thoughts are with her and her family. Federal immigration officials told Fox News that Marcotulio Melendez Diaz, 42, of Honduras, faces a felony sexual penetration charge involving coercion. The alleged attack happened Oct. 11, when he was working as a handyman there. ICE says it was caught on the home's surveillance video. A federal judge had ordered Diaz freed from ICE detention, and ICE blames that ruling. RedState, citing a charging document, reports a $150,000 bond and up to 30 years in prison if convicted. Diaz is in custody. He has not been convicted of anything, and no reply from the judge's office has been reported. Every family deserves to know the person working in their home has been properly vetted and is not a danger to them. Our hope is for justice for this woman and accountability for every decision that let him walk free.
