Apple Shares PLUNGE on Foldable iPhone Fiasco

Apple booked $114.48 billion in revenue, up 12 percent, and iPhones beat expectations at $57.6 billion. Shares still dropped early, which tells you Wall Street wanted more. iPad and wearables came up short. Apple says supply and demand are 'really hard to predict.' I ran three stores for thirty years and I can predict it: order too much of what sits, too little of what sells. The foldable Duo sold out in just over a week, but it isn't in these numbers, like a store bragging about a sale that ran after closing. This is John Ternus's first report as CEO; Tim Cook handed him the job September 1. A 45 to 46 percent margin forecast is no crisis to anybody who has met a payroll. Wall Street has never met one.
