Idaho Massacre Survivor: Family Moved 9 Times

I won't dress this one up. Dylan Mortensen, a survivor of the University of Idaho student killings, has asked Judge Megan Marshall to reconsider her October 20 order allowing release of Moscow police video and images that could show her face. In an affidavit, Mortensen says she and her family have moved nine times since November 2022, and she uses an alias. Her attorney, Robyn McPherson, wants a stay until appeals are resolved. Bryan Kohberger pleaded guilty in July 2025, and a hearing is set for November 12. This woman has already been through more than anyone should, and the court should weigh her safety before any footage goes public. Law and order should protect the people who survived this, too.
