Fox News · first seen 5h ago · 3 outlets
Hot Air reports water rescues and evacuations in Palm Bay, where about 22 inches of rain fell over 24 hours, according to a National Weather Service meteorologist. Fox News says a low-pressure system brought heavy rain from Oct. 31 through Nov. 2, triggering flash flood warnings. Gov. Ron DeSantis signed Executive Order 26-227 on Monday declaring a state of emergency. The Florida Department of State confirmed polling-place changes in seven counties, including Palm Bay City Hall in Brevard. Our thoughts are with the families dealing with the damage and the first responders who worked the rescues. Polls are open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, so check with your county elections office before heading out.
