Bomb Threats Ground Flights Across Europe
I won't dress this one up. Eight flights across Europe got bomb threats that officials call apparently fake, all within just over a day. Breitbart says the threats came in a tight window, and Bloomberg reports the series forced diversions across the region. Planes were landed, passengers and crews were evacuated, and police and bomb disposal teams searched the aircraft. Airports and national governments report finding no explosives. Flights tied to Warsaw, Sofia, Rome and Murcia, Spain were among those hit, including services from LOT, SAS, Wizzair and Ryanair. In at least some cases the threats came by email. No one has been publicly identified, and Breitbart says any coordination remains speculation. The people who sat through that ordeal deserve answers. Whoever is behind these threats should be found and held to account, because anyone who endangers families and crews in the air faces the full weight of the law.
