Alaska PAC Accused of Swapping Sullivan in Guide
Washington Examiner · first seen 2h ago · 1 outlet

Alaska voters opened their mail to find the incumbent missing, replaced by an independent named Dan J. Sullivan, which is either a coincidence or a very good campaign. The mailer says Alaska Values PAC paid for it and promotes Mary Peltola alongside him. The New York Times ties the PAC to the Peltola campaign, and Alaska's Supreme Court let the lookalike stay on the ballot in June. Our friends on the left will call it ballot design. I call it a fellow borrowing the senator's name tag. The PAC and the Alaska GOP did not respond to the Washington Examiner, which is the Washington answer to nearly everything. Common sense keeps winning, and Washington keeps acting surprised.
