Paris Jackson Seeks $600M Trust Fund Payout

Paris Jackson has asked a Los Angeles court to make the Michael Jackson estate release $600 million to the family trust meant for her and her brothers. The trust is still unfunded more than 17 years after her father's 2009 death. The estate says it can't fully fund anything until its legal fights are settled, including an IRS dispute over a reported $700 million in taxes and penalties. Well, isn't that special. The IRS has never once been rushed by a family trust. The Daily Mail reports the estate's line: "None of his children receive a distribution until they are in their 30s." That's a sentence that makes a Tuesday payroll look like a hostage negotiation, and I'd know. Meanwhile, the estate says more than $200 million has already gone out for Paris and the other beneficiaries.
