9th Circuit Greenlights Trump Ballot Isolation Effort

The Blaze reports a full Ninth Circuit panel voted 6-5 to restore a ruling lifting a restraining order, so the Trump administration can again tell election officials to set aside ballots cast by suspected noncitizens. That order was set to run until Nov. 13, which is a long time to keep a stop sign in front of an election office. The Justice Department and DHS have already warned election officials about criminal liability for counting those ballots. Nobody needs a law degree to read that. Jonathan Turley, per The Blaze, says the ruling "hampers the Administration's efforts on election integrity." Simple question: why is checking citizenship before counting a vote a fight at all? Nobody in Washington wants to answer it.
