Exit Poll: 71% Want Congress to Check Trump

The AP Voter Poll exit survey, released Tuesday evening, found 71% of voters want Congress to do more to check President Trump, and 62% blame him for higher prices. Strip the spin off that and here's what's left: a mood, a grocery receipt, and a press corps that will spend the week deciding which one to blame. The economy led the issues at 39%. Your grocery bill is not a matter of opinion, and nobody in Washington pays it. Democrats edge Republicans 46% to 41% on favorability, a lead about as sturdy as a card table at a church picnic. Trump told the New York Post he'd become 'Mr. Veto' for Democratic bills if they win. Seventy-one percent want Congress to act, and Congress is still deciding whether to show up.
