Gates: Some May Go AMISH

Mark your calendar, friends: Bill Gates has discovered the Amish. Breitbart reports the Microsoft co-founder predicts some people may limit their AI use and live like the Amish as the technology transforms society. He says the next two decades will bring winners and losers, and the Daily Wire has him promising, "We're going to have real choices." Real choices! The man who put a paper clip on every screen in America now tells us the escape hatch is a buggy.

Here's my favorite part. Breitbart says Gates thinks governments, not tech companies, should manage the fallout. The guy building the fire wants Washington running the fire department. I've seen smarter decisions made by a cow stuck in a gate.

Meanwhile, the Amish have been beta testing the offline life for generations, and their barn raisings never once needed a software update.
