DeSantis: GOP Wipeout Near EXTINCTION Event

Outgoing Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis says Republican midterm losses were 'close to an extinction-level event.' Fox News has the GOP losing both chambers of Congress. Democrats also took both Texas races, and a crown jewel is supposed to stay in the safe. Daily Mail has James Talarico beating Ken Paxton in Texas and Trump-backed Byron Donalds narrowly edging David Jolly in Florida. Plenty of Republicans blame the Iran war and gas prices, and anybody who's filled a pickup lately can see the case. Bloomberg has Sen. John Cornyn blaming 'unforced' errors by fellow Republicans. My neighbor left a gate open once and blamed the wind for two days, right up until the heifers reached the highway. Blaming everything but the gate is useless as a screen door on a submarine.
