NY Business Group Sits Out Governor's Race

Are you KIDDING me? The Business Council of New York State, the state's top business group, backed Governor Hochul in 2022 and has decided to sit out this year's governor's race. She's seeking a second four-year term, and the election is NEXT WEEK. The NY Post reports the group insisted its decision was not a snub of Hochul.

Not a snub! Folks, that's what you say right after you skip somebody's birthday party and mail a card with no signature. If I told my neighbor I wasn't snubbing him, but I'd be sitting out his barbecue and also his whole election, he'd check my pulse.

Why the group is staying home, the NY Post blurb doesn't say. But I've seen smarter decisions made by a cow stuck in a gate, and even she picks a direction eventually.
