Democrats swept Congress on election night, and by the next day the Senate Homeland Security Committee had three job postings up. That's not a transition, that's a posting spree, and in my classroom it gets a kid a conference with the principal. One listing wants a 'counsel, anti-corruption' for ethics legislation and investigations, a title that sounds typed up for a bumper sticker. Rep. Robert Garcia told President Trump to 'lawyer up.' Sen. Maggie Hassan, who takes the gavel in January, tells the Washington Examiner the new majorities must focus on affordability and accountability. Grade that answer: incomplete. Affordability is what folks at my kitchen table talk about, and nobody's posting a job for that.
